JACK R. HALES, JR.
Jack is Board Certified in Estate Planning and Probate Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization and primarily practices probate, estate planning, and small business formation and management.
Before becoming an attorney, Jack was certified as a Registered Tax Return Preparer. Now, Jack practices primarily in areas of estate planning and probate, including representation of executors, fiduciaries, and beneficiaries in uncontested and contested estate and trust matters and funeral home negligence.
Jack earned his B.A. in History from Texas A&M in 2011 and later went on to attend Baylor Law School, where he obtained his J.D. in February 2015. While at Baylor, Jack was part of the Order of Barristers and represented Baylor in several Moot Court Competitions including the National Moot Court Competition. Accolades earned at Baylor include being named champion and top speaker in Baylor’s Strasburger & Price Moot Court Competition, and representing Baylor in the National Moot Court Competition and the Sutherland Cup Moot Court Competition. Jack was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 2015 and is a member of the Texas Bar Real Estate, Probate, and Trust Law Section of the Bar. Jack was recently named a 2020 and 2021 Rising Star by Texas Superlawyers.
Jack and his wife Meagan have three children: Tripp, Ella, and Serena. When not practicing law, Jack and his family love spending time in the outdoors, cooking, and watching Texas Aggie football.
Ryan is a graduate of University of Tennessee, where he earned his bachelor's, and Baylor Law School, where he earned his Juris Doctor. Ryan is a trial attorney with extensive experience practicing in front of North Texas judges and juries. Ryan's practice has a focus on disputes over wills, trusts, and estates. Ryan holds a Texas Attorney Ad Litem Certification from the State Bar of Texas and represents parties in contested guardianship matters. Additionally, Ryan's experience includes cases involving funeral home negligence, defamation and anti-SLAPP, real estate, business disputes, consumer claims, and deceptive trade practices.
Ryan is well known for his skill in developing his client's case strategy and obtaining outstanding results at trial. He is considered an expert and authority on laws governing attorney's fees.
Catherine recently graduated Magna Cum Laude from Baylor Law School. At Baylor, she was a Senior Executive Editor of Baylor Law Review, President of the Texas Aggie Bar Association, a research assistant, and on multiple moot court teams. She also is a proud graduate of Texas A&M University, where she studied Management.
She is from New Orleans, LA, loves to eat, exercise, and hangout with her dogs. She lives in Del Rio, Texas with her husband Shelton.
