Biography

Maya earned her J.D. from Baylor Law School, where she received the Best Real Estate Student Award and Pro Bono Honors for her work in the Estate Planning Clinic. She was named an Outstanding Student Leader, was a member of the Barrister’s Society, and competed on one of Baylor Law’s negotiation teams. During law school, Maya served as a research assistant to Professors Jessica Kincaid and Bridget Fuselier and interned for Judges Jeffrey Manske and Michelle Larson. Prior to law school, she was a Fulbright Awardee to Taiwan and worked as a Deputy Clerk at the Supreme Court of Texas.
